The main feature was a church, the Eglise St-Pierre-et-St-Paul, "a Romanesque church, with architecture of the Rhine school of the 12th century. It was restored in the last century, and then was re-restored in its correct primitive state in 1968." So says our informative handout that accompanied the field trip.
