I have some trilobites that I pickedup in Oklahoma on a fossil hunting field trip in sixth grade. I actually won the class contest for smallest fossile (and largest, for a big chunk of ammonite I had and Mom carried back for me). My prize was a small cut ruby. That was probably the best field trip ever.
